Carved in solid gold this necklace has been adorned with pattern and a robust grey rhodium plating. It is perfect for stacking and layering with other neck ware - it also works well as a curio on its own.
Fraser is exploring ideas around the literal discovery and transportation of gemstones and other precious materials. This pendant loosely resembles a decorated raft built for carrying minerals, the ruby has broken free from its strapping. On the back side of the pendant there is a rippled texture emulating rough waves as if the raft were at sea.
